Govt. College for Girls
Datta (Hisar) is affiliated to Guru Jambheshwar University of Science &
Technology, Hisar. The college was established in 2018. The institution was
started to promote girl education in the rural areas. The College is in the
process of providing adequate facilities like smart class rooms, library, laboratories,
computer lab etc. for better teaching-learning process. Students from all the
sphere of life seek admission in this College for all round development of
their personality. They excel here with the able guidance of learned staff of
the College in the chosen areas of their interest, be it academic, sports and
extra-curricular activities. Along with this the college provides a liberal,
lively and competitive environment enabling the students to carve out a niche
for themselves in the chosen areas of their interest.
Guru Jambheshwar
University of Science & Technology, Hisar (formerly Guru Jambheshwar
University) is a State University established on October 20, 1995 by an Act of
the Legislature of the State of Haryana to facilitate and promote studies and
research in emerging areas of higher education with a focus on new frontiers of
technology, pharmacy, environmental studies, non-conventional sources energy
and management studies and also to achieve excellence in these and connected fields.
It was formally inaugurated on November 1, 1995. It is named after Guru
Jambheshwar Ji Maharaj, a saint environmentalist of 15th century.
