PROGRAM OUTCOMES OF HINDI

PO1   The curriculum is designed with basic grammar knowledge, communication skills, social messages, and linguistic proficiency in mind. Students will become familiar with important concepts such as elaboration, correspondence, translation, technical terminology, word correction, sentence correction, computer Hindi applications, and standard language. Prose and poetry works of literary figures express human values. By absorbing the messages in these works, students will become dutiful.

PO2    Students will be able to develop their personalities in a holistic manner through reading articles and personal introductions by various scholars. By gaining knowledge of Hindi grammar, they will develop the ability to use refined language.

PO3   Students will be able to develop the ability to take appropriate decisions by understanding the important topics like patriotism, ability to cope with adverse situations, advantages and disadvantages of modern civilization, ill effects of population growth, environmental pollution - causes and solutions etc. contained in the works of writers. They will be able to acquire skills in various structures of Hindi language, letter writing, translation and report writing through which they will be able to effectively communicate the feelings and ideas of Hindi language.

 

PROGRAM OUTCOMES OF HISTORY

 

PO1     To develop students understanding of human values, creativity, literature Arts and performance

PO2     To cultivate critical thinking skills through analysis of past perspectives and texts.

PO3     To develop effective communication abilities through writing, speaking, and presentation on history.

 

PROGRAM OUTCOMES OF POLITICAL SCIENCE

 

PO1     Develop knowledge of theories, concepts, and research methods in humanities and social sciences.

PO2     Assess how global, national and regional developments affect society.

PO3   The Political Science degree furnishes the students with a unique multidisciplinary approach in social sciences and prepares them for further academic study and for careers in the public and the private sector.

 

PROGRAM OUTCOMES OF SANSKRIT ELECTIVE

 

PO1   Sanskrit is a rich language. Students will be able to understand Sanskrit along with other languages ​​like Hindi. Sanskrit is a medium to learn about ancient Indian history, culture, religion, and social life. Academic programs for general degree courses are designed not only to hone professional skills but also to develop a deep understanding of India's rich heritage and dynamic prevailing landscape through various Sanskrit texts.

PO2     Students will demonstrate skills in participating in conversations that collaboratively build knowledge.

P03      One will develop a proper understanding of the multidisciplinary relevance of Sanskrit literature like Vedas, Darshan, Vyakaran, Kavya, Dharmashastra etc. After graduation, students can apply for UPSC, HCS etc. and after post-graduation, they can also apply for teaching positions in schools, colleges and other educational institutions.

PO1     Capable of demonstrating comprehensive disciplinary knowledge gained during course of study.

PO2     Ability to communicate effectively on general and scientific topics with the scientific community and with society at large.

PO1    To develop skills in graduate students so that they are able to acquire theoretical and practical knowledge about economics, economy, economic behaviour, economic policies and economic institutions and economic problems.

PO2    To inculcate ability in students for critical thinking, lateral thinking about economic phenomena, problems and policies so as to create professional potential in them.

PROGRAM OUTCOMES OF DEFENCE STUDIES

 

PO1    Upon completion of the programme of Bachelor's in Defence and Strategic Studies, a student should have acquired basic competency in strategic affairs covering a wide spectrum of interstate security to global security issues including non-kinetic dimensions.

PO2    Shall develop capability in understanding the implications of use and threat of use of force in international relations.

PO3   Shall seek, identify and apply the acquired knowledge in Defence and strategic studies on contemporary issues of strategic relevance.

 

PROGRAM OUTCOMES OF ENGLISH

 

PO1    At the completion of the programme, the students will gain a comprehensive understanding of literary genres such as poetry, prose, fiction and drama across different periods and regions, as well as an appreciation of the diversity and complexity of cultural expressions.

PO2     The students will develop an awareness of ethical issues and social responsibilities, including the ability to engage with contemporary social and cultural debates in an informed and thoughtful manner.

PO3     The students will exhibit strong written and oral communication skills in English, articulating ideas clearly and in grammatically accurate language in various formats, including essays, letters, emails, presentations, and discussions.

PO4   The students will demonstrate the ability to read, interpret, and critically analyze a wide variety of texts, considering historical, cultural, and theoretical contexts.

 

PROGRAM OUTCOMES OF COMPUTER SCIENCE

 

PO1   Students get knowledge and training of technical subjects so that they will be technical professional by learning C programming, Relational Database Management, Data Structure, Software Engineering, Graphics, Java, Networking, Theoretical Computer Science, Object Oriented Programming and Software Engineering.

PO2     Students understand the concepts of software application and projects.

PO3     Students understand the computer subjects with demonstration of all programming and theoretical concepts with the use of ICT.

PO4     Development of in-house applications in terms of projects

PO5     Students will build up programming, analytical and logical thinking abilities.
